INSTRUCTOR POST - Mixamo Field Trip Wednesday, no class Thursday.

Thanks to Xiao for reminding me: we don't meet next for Thursday's class (Nov 1st) Instead we have a field trip to Mixamo on Wednesday. See the original post here for directions and to co-ordinate with classmates for travel.

Good morning everyone:

Thank you for your patience and my apologies for the delay: I've finally finished grading your work. (clearly I need to come up with a better way to track cookie points.) Please check your grade and pay attention to any notes I may have given you. Remember: participation accounts for 20% of your final grade. If you  want to boost your participation grade get those cookie points in class, post your work to the blog or give feedback to your classmates in the comments. HINT: You can even comment on an instructor post, saying that you've read it!

If you are at all uncertain as to why you have a particular grade; please come and see me right away. Grades are only useful if you understand why you get them.

My office hours are Mon/Thurs 12-4, and Tu/We 3-5. Until I have an office, all hours are drop-in only.

Mixamo Field Trip - Wed Oct 31st, 8-11a

For extra informative fun and enjoyment, we have arranged a field trip to Mixamo, a motion-capture studio here in San Francisco. Attendees should arrive at the studio at 8a promptly.Our host will be Brent Jentzsch. (Mixamo employee and AAU Motion Capture Instructor)

Please note - because of this field trip: CLASS WILL NOT RUN ON Thursday Nov 1st.
